OrganiMax Nutrient Corp is an exploration company focused on advancing its 100%-owned lithium and potassium bearing salar complex of mineral concessions located on the Central Mexican Plateau located in the states of Zacatecas, and San Luis Potosi.
On December 12, 2019 the company released its Maiden Resource Estimate in sediments (MRE) on its three highest priority salars. The company is encouraged with the first inferred sediment resource estimate at the project because the first pass only represents a small portion of what the company believes can become a much larger resource in the future. Also, regional geophysical work has indicated that the depths of the salar basins are much greater than previously thought, making the salars highly prospective for large brine aquifers to be discovered at depth.
Used in the production of high-value chloride sensitive
crops such as fruits, vegetables, and nuts.
OrganiMax’s main project areas are located 60 km from the city of Zacatecas and accessible year round by paved highways and gravel roads. Zacatecas is served by a modern interstate road network including the Pan American Highway. The Mexico-Ciudad Jaarez rail line passes within 60 km Southwest of the Caliguey and Santa Clara salars, and just 10 km from the La Salada salar. Port access to Mazatlan on the Pacific Ocean or Altamira/Tampico on the Gulf of Mexico is by rail or road.Sufficient power crosses the projects from along the highways in several directions, and abundant water is available for both domestic consumption and industrial use.
